After your treatment, you are required to keep the treated area covered with the dressing supplied for at least 6-12 hours, as directed.

After this time has elapsed, carefully remove the dressing and clean the area as directed:

Cleaning process

  • Remove dressing.
  • Clean around treated area with a clean dressing, using a small amount of distilled water or saline solution or cooled boiled water. Care is to be taken not to get the treated area wet.
  • If the treated area gets wet, use a hair dryer or similar to dry off the area.
  • Once cleaned, spray a very light spritz of Part A (Sea Spray) and apply dressing.
  • Non-stick Dressings are best suited for this application.
  • Repeat clean process on a daily basis, or as required.
  • Part A can only be used 2-3 times a day maximum.
  • The treated area should remain covered with a dressing for the first 2-3 days. Exceptions to this rule, are areas open to contaminates as a result of your occupation or areas which area easily aggravated by clothing or movement.

Tatts On Tatts Off Sea Spray – Part A ( if instructed to )

This product is only to be used for the first 2-3 days if required. A maximum of 2-3 very light spritzes a day, should be used as required.

Please ensure the product is shaken prior to use.

Keep the scab dry

Whilst the scab is present, 2-3 weeks, all care is to be taken to ensure the area remains dry. Any moisture exposure, will affect the quality of your removal.

Bathing process

  • Keep the area dry.
  • Utilise water proof dressings or similar.
  • Gladwrap or similar and tape can also be very useful.
  • Use common sense!
  • Should the area become moist or wet, you should dry the area immediately, with care taken not to disturb the scab. A hair dryer or similar can be very useful in this situation.

Scab falling away

Approximately 2-3 weeks after your initial treatment, the scab will start to wall away. When this occurs, you are to commence the use of the Part B (Sea Salt).

Tatts On Tatts Off Sea Salt – Part B ( or Dr Pickles)

As the scab falls away, apply a small amount of Part B to the area that has fallen away.

Care is to be taken, not to apply Part B to any of the remaining scabbed area.

Week One

Part B is to be applied 3 times a day, for the first 2 weeks.

Week Three

Part B is to be applied 2 times a day, during week 3 and 4.

Week Five

Part B is to be applied at least once a day, between now and your next treatment.
