For the first time in the events history, Summernats is extending an invitation to tattoo artists from all around Australia to participate in Australia's biggest horsepower party.

There will be live tattooing, art shows, airbrushing displays and tattoo competitions taking place on all four days of the event held at Exhibition Park in Canberra, January 4-7, 2018.

Summernats is looking for the best tattoo artists in the industry to come together under one roof as more than 100,000 enthusiasts flock to the nation's capital over four days. Together we aim to celebrate tattooing as an artform and immerse ourselves and the visitors into the Summernats culture.

An opportunity of this type has not been seen in Australia and offers exposure like never before. Tattoo artist booths are available through application only and are subject to event coordinator's approval.

Only 14 booths will be allocated and booth locations are at the discretion of the coordinator.

The annual Street Machine Summernats Car Festival, is Australia's biggest horsepower party.Created by renowned revhead Chic Henry in 1988, the Summernats has taken on a life of its own and become a genuine Aussie icon. This year, more than 2500 of Australia's toughest modified cars descended on Exhibition Park in Canberra.

Coming from around the country and the world, this diverse tribe gathers to show off their love of the street machine to an enthusiastic crowd of over 100,000 people.

The Summernats delivers four days of high octane extreme auto action including Australia?s top street machine judging competition, the world's biggest and best burnout battle, two nights of massive concerts, horsepower heroics, and more It's all set against a backdrop of burnt rubber, rock and roll, and one of Australia's biggest motor retail trade shows, as we search for the Street Machine Summernats Grand Champion.
