Mary Arnold-Ronish, is the CEO of Tattoo Vanish®, where she brings more than 30 years of experience as a registered nurse, to the Tattoo Removal industry.

Even before starting her permanent cosmetics and Tattoo Removal business, Arnoldalready had decades of experience in the medical industry. She began as a nurse in 1969, working in area hospitals and physicians' offices. Aside from that, she also served as a business and front office manager, and a dermatology nurse for a dermatologist in Las Vegas. She later on became the director of marketing and operations for a large home health care organization with locations in Utah, Arizona,Nevada and Colorado.

The Makings of an Expert

In 1993, Arnolddecided to apply her years of experience as a nurse in the cosmetics industry to found Professional Permanent Cosmetics and create a quality permanent makeup practice in the Las Vegas Valley. Her strict sterilization techniques and high quality work was immediately recognized, making her a respected member of the medical community.

Arnold is not one to rest on her laurels. She continuously strives to deliver the best care to her patients by undergoing extensive training on the latest developments in the industry and constantly updates her skills.

She is now a recognized expert in the Valley in the field of color adjustments and corrective procedures such as lip color, eyebrows and eyeliner. Proof of that is the fact that 80 percent of her practice consists of correcting the mistakes of other permanent makeup technicians or working with their unsatisfied clients. She does all these while adhering to the Clark County Health District's requirements, ensuring clients that they are getting the best quality service out there.

Arnold also provides advanced procedures such as scar camouflage, skin re-pigmentation, hair simulation and areola restoration and coloration following breast reconstruction from mastectomies or other breast surgery.

Since becoming the go to person in Southern Nevada for corrections, Arnoldeventually developed a new and better method of removing ink or pigment from the skin. That's when she opened Tattoo Vanish, Inc.

Tattoo Vanish, Inc. and Her Causes

So what makes Tattoo Vanish® different from all the tattoo removal procedures out there, such as laser?

This procedure uses a method of tattoo removal similar to applying tattoo or permanent make up to the skin, which minimizes damage to the skin of the patient. Arnold has since perfected this method, making it far superior to any type of laser tattoo removal. Unlike laser tattoo removal, Tattoo Vanish is less painful, more cost-effective as it requires up to 75% fewer treatments for complete removal, and is the only method that will remove all colors where laser cannot.

In 2005,Arnold wrote and sponsored a bill with the help of State Assemblywoman Valerie Weber, to raise the level of entry into the permanent cosmetic profession. After testifying before the Nevada Legislature, the bill passed unanimously in the Nevada State Assembly before being dropped in the Senate. Arnoldhas consistently fought to raise the standards in the profession and has argued for tougher regulations in the state, citing that Nevadacurrently lacks strict regulations and allows for essentially anyone interested to get into the profession.

Arnold is also a constant philanthropist and donates her services to numerous causes. She provides pro bono areola and nipple recreation and repigmentation to any woman that cannot afford the procedure, ensuring that their psychological healing takes place in additional to physical healing following breast cancer. Arnold also provided no-cost ex-gang tattoo removal to any young person in the Las Vegascommunity wishing to start a gang-free life in the summers of 2007 and 2008. In the past, she ran "Smooches for Pooches," a campaign in which she donated money from lip procedures to local animal shelters to help defray the cost of care.
